Dr. Bernhard Ebel
Dr. Bernhard Ebel is the founder and Managing Partner of EbelHofer Strategy & Management Consultants in Cologne. Before that, he worked for an international management consultancy for 20 years (including as partner and senior partner), during which he made a substantial contribution in developing the company.
After graduating from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology as an industrial engineer, Dr. Ebel obtained his PhD at RWTH Aachen University. Before becoming a management consultant, he worked at a large technology company for several years. Today he specializes in advising companies on growth and improving their profits on the market side. In particular, he addresses their sales, competition, price and marketing strategies as well as organisational issues.
During his many years of consultancy practice, Dr. Ebel has undertaken a large number of projects in Europe and worldwide – for companies in the automotive and supply industry, the construction sector, service companies, the aftersales sector, and machine, chemical and component manufacturers. These also include many “hidden champions”, SMEs and family businesses.
Dr. Ebel is much sought after as a speaker at meetings and congresses, and is the author of numerous publications. He holds a lectureship at the Unternehmer-Hochschule Berlin/Hamburg/Iserlohn (BiTS) and is a member in the supervisory board of several industrial companies.
